Do we still need to keep learning when AI takes over more and more of our work?
In this episode I talk with Marloes from the Dutch AI Coalition (AI Coalitie voor Nederland), where she works on learning communities, AI adoption in small and medium-sized businesses and the ethical side of AI. Together we look at how AI is fundamentally changing the way we learn and work, and what that asks of students, working people, employers and education.
We discuss, among other things:
- Why juniors are in a catch-22 now that AI takes over entry-level work
- How students and working people can learn from each other about AI
- Why education needs to become more flexible, more cyclical and more focused on work
- Why every organisation needs its own approach for the frontrunners, the doubters and the people who find AI scary
- Why above all you need courage: to experiment, to say you don't understand something, and to keep learning
