SLIM subsidy: up to €25,000 towards training your team

We write the training plan and handle the application. You pay at most 40% yourself. No subsidy, no cost.

Who is the SLIM budget for?

Dutch SMEs (mkb) that want to train their employees in data analysis, digital skills and AI. With the SLIM subsidy, companies can get up to 60% of the costs reimbursed. You qualify when:

  • You are an SME, large or small, in any sector.
  • You want to invest in learning and development. It doesn't matter whether employees are already in training; what counts is that there is a need for it.
  • You contribute at most 40% yourself. The rest is covered by the SLIM budget.

What exactly is the SLIM budget?

The SLIM budget is a government scheme to encourage learning and development in SMEs. Companies can get 60% of their training and development costs reimbursed, so with a small investment you can give your employees a high-quality learning environment for data science and AI skills.

  • Up to €25,000 subsidy to invest in your organisation's development.
  • You pay at most 40% of the total training costs.
  • No risk: if you don't receive the subsidy, there are no costs.

What can you achieve with it?

With the SLIM subsidy, Amsterdam Data Academy can build a learning environment for your organisation, so you invest in your staff's data and AI skills in a structural way.

  • A learning environment made for you: programmes that match the challenges of your sector.
  • Interactive and modular: microlearning, videos, quizzes and real-world cases.
  • Practice-oriented: plenty of exercises and assignments.
  • Recognised: our courses are officially recognised in the Netherlands and NRTO certified.
  • Progress you can follow: HR and managers follow progress in dashboards and reward employees with certificates.

Organisations that went before you include a healthcare institution (quality managers learning to analyse patient data), a marketing agency (a tailored marketing and AI bootcamp), a logistics company (lower logistics costs with AI) and a government institution (clearer content about its products and services).

“By leveraging the SLIM subsidy, we have been able to give many organisations a boost in setting up a data and AI development programme.”
